I’m Veronica — a designer with roots in architecture and a career spent making digital things. Born and raised in Italy, I’ve since lived in Australia, Germany, and France.
Over the years I’ve worked across brand identity, web, e-commerce, and mobile for both startups and established companies — shaping how businesses present themselves and how their products behave. The work has ranged from ground-up brand systems to complex interaction design, across digital and traditional media.
For the past four-plus years I’ve been at Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce, and other products that power 43% of the web. My work sits at the intersection of product, design systems, and information architecture — with a focus on making powerful tools feel intuitive. I’ve led design across commerce, analytics, onboarding, and admin experiences, working closely with product and engineering to turn ambiguity into direction, and direction into shipped work. I care about craft, consistency, and building systems that scale.
When I’m not designing, I’m usually reading, watching films, or planning the next trip.
